through a personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. We believe that everyone needs
Jesus. Therefore we seek to attract people to a way of life in Jesus.
First Baptist is committed to loving people into a growing relationship with
each other. We believe in building relationships that last because we all need
each other. So we seek to attract people to be identified with the church in a
public way.
First Baptist is committed to loving people into a growing relationship with God
through taking the Bible seriously. We believe the Bible is a perfect treasure
of divine instruction. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and
truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. Therefore we offer Bible
study groups for all ages each Sunday morning at 9:45.
First Baptist is committed to loving people into a growing relationship with God
and others through prayer. We believe in the power of prayer to transform lives
and alter the course of history. So we gather for the ministry of prayer several
times a week.

member is gifted by God and called to ministry. Therefore we offer a variety of
small group studies to help people of all ages discover their giftedness and
